Robert L. Roberg was born, raised and educated in Spokane, WA. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 1966 and was the winner of the William T. Costello Prize for Poetry. He became a world traveler and speaks several languages. Mount Spokane became an important anchor in his life and source of inspiration. It is named after the Spokane Tribe and means “Children of the Sun”. Robert has always had a sunny disposition as it is seen in his poems, songs, and paintings.
